We are on a fast-track development of our spaceware™ range and our spacevan™ vehicles, while increasing our production capacity to meet growing demand.

Exotrail is gearing up, moving from the prototype designing phase, to manufacturing a high-quality industrial product. We have notably integrated advanced industrial processes inspired by aeronautics and automotive, to redefine our space engineering, improve our product quality and optimize our production efficiency.

To support our ambition, we have set up a dedicated production facility covering over 1600 m² (more than 20 000 ft), enabling us to unlock large-scale production, while guaranteeing uncompromising precision and quality. This modern and modular infrastructure is designed to foster continuous innovation, adapt to the needs of both propulsion and satellites activities, while meeting the stringent requirements of the space industry.

Define the Need

Our engineering team works closely with customers to develop a detailed Product Specification, outlining all specific requirements for the solution.

Industrial Product Development

The Product Specification is translated into detailed specifications for each system module, ensuring that every module is designed to optimize cost, lead time, and cycle time. Verification requirements are also defined.

Product File Build-Up

Our industrialization team creates a comprehensive production file based on the engineering specifications. This includes all processes and methods required to ensure that the product is built exactly as designed.

Project Planning

We use Value Stream Mapping to visualize the entire production process, optimize resources, and ensure efficient manufacturing and timely delivery.

Parallel Production

Our modular design allows for simultaneous production of core components, including the in-house designed Propellant Management System, precision-engineered Thruster Head, weight-optimized Propellant Tank, and advanced Thruster Control Unit.

Integration & Testing

At our Massy headquarters, we assemble all components and conduct rigorous environmental and performance testing in our 12 vacuum chambers to verify the system meets all specifications.

Final delivery

Once assembly and testing are completed, our logistics team securely packages the system and coordinates with the customer for safe and timely delivery.
